Just wondering if this has been shown on TV yet?

I have been waiting on it coming on but dont know if I have missed it or not.

I have looked on amazon but it appears only available to pre-order it so I assume it hasn't been shown yet, but anyone know for sure.

Any help much appreciated. Thumbs Up

Have you ever seen him live?

My girlfriend and I went to see him last year in Glasgow. He was absolutely brilliant. Half of his material was mostly about protestants and catholics. And being in Glasgow this can be a touchy subject but he did the show in a way where both sides were happy with the jokes. Would love to go and see him again at some point.

I especially like the way that he 'talks' to the audience rather than having pre-written material. He comes across as the kind of guy that you could have a good night out with at the pub.

@ Gazz, I saw him live at Hammersmith some years ago... absolutely aching with laughter during and after the show!!
and also saw him more recently at the Cardiff Millennium Centre, and genuinely almost PMSL cos I was determined I wasn't going to get up half way thru the show Embarassed

@ carlosthejackal, I want that pic as my desktop wallpaper at home Thumbs Up

As said above. Starts Thursday at 10pm on ITV1+1. It would start at 9pm on ITV1 but Torchwoods last eppisode is on at the same time. Laughing

Everyone loves a bit of Billy. I have the big box set with everything up to the last series he done about the arctic circle when he followed Scott.

I just wish I look half as good as him when I hit his age. I'd have to start growing my hair again now!

I read about an American journalist riding Route 66 back in the early '80s.He cadged a bike from Suzuki USA and related to his ride along big stretches of this famous road.

One part of the writup that I remember was how this journalist and his wife were barrelling along at a fair old wack. But as he looked as far into the distance as he could,he realised that something was missing - like a big section of tarmac. No signs or anything saying as such - just no road.He managed to stop in time, but only just.

'Get your kicks,on Route 66'

I will be recording the programme so that I can watch it again - and again.I am now jealous of a few friends who rode a large stretch of this road about 10 years ago.Even though they rode it on Harleys,it was quite an adventure for them.

It clashes with the last episode of The Killing tomorrow (and the mrs is recording Torchwood which is also on at the same time). I'll have to watch it on STV player on the PC (ITV player is poo).

I think he's mellowed as he's got older - catch some of his early stand up if you can - he was the Frankie Boyle of his day.

My theory is that Connolly coughed up all his bile over the years, kept in a jar until it grew arms and legs and a weird sort of half-human face, and thus we got Frankie "Boyle".

Anyway, trikes, what's that all about? I'll give 'em a salute Dance! because they're not in a cage, but I don't really get the appeal, except for bikers who can't ride on two wheels any more.
