Oddly enough I'm going to agree with Cov. Lenny was funny way back in the 80's but then so was Eddie Murphy and Robin Williams. Then they made it famous and Eddie started making movies and stopped being funny.

Robin is the only one who made the cross over and stayed funny.

Lee Evans was funny the first time. Along with Twatintyre. After that they became annoying.

Richard K Amos is funny.

Eddie Izzard is funny

Billy is funny.

But Lenny is ex funny.

I dunneven know who the new-breed comedians are, I don't think I have watched stand-up for AGES.

Is Billy Connelly as funny to younger people today as an old man? He is as funny to me now, as he was when he was a young man.

I thought I would tire of him, but as he (we) have aged, Connelly's humour still seems relevant to me.

Perhaps its just that he is probably a genuine eccentric.
