Kawasaki GPZ500s ('96) Breaking for Spares

GPZ500s registration N856 PKG. A con-rod broke and the part still connected to the crankshaft carved a hole through the engine casing, so most of the engine is beyond salvage. Starter motor, magneto, camshafts and valves are ok though. The fairing has a large crack by the right wing mirror mounting, and the throttle assembly is gone.

The rest of the bike is looking for new homes!

New stainless steel exhaust downpipes had only been on for 2 months when it blew up. I also have a brand new chain and sprocket, still in the wrapping, that arrived 2 days before it blew.

It is registered to me (I have it on SORN) and have all the documents.
