hello all, does anyone know if its possible to get a split link for a rk 525gxw chain ?

Reason- brought to then relise i need a chain riveter to join the current link

Any ideas

My DID chain tool cost £20, you could always use a peening hammer and do it the oldskool way but imo its not worth it. You will use it more than you think.

Cheaper than engine cases/new foot when the split link parts.

get this, I have had one and its very good. Although the handle might break its easily overcome using a pair of mole grips or an adjustable wrench.

I bought it with a c&s set. Cant remember where from tho. Might have been bikespeeduk or mad4bikes. I saw it on ebay but actually rang them up as i needed to ask them some stuff. The bloke said if i ordered over the phone he would knock £15 off the price as he wouldnt have to pay ebay and paypal fees.
