Help identifying part, unless someone offers a free welder!

Hey everyone!

Not quite sure how it happened to be honest, but my FR indicator started to get a bit wobbly. So, as you do, gave it a tug and pull to check how connected it was - well, short story even shorter, it's now not connected. At all.

So, I can feel fairly sure that in the current state - this is going to fail me my MOT at the end of November. So I need to replace the part, unless someone's kind enough to donate me some welding!
If you do think you may be able to donate some welding, I live in Stoney Stanton, in Leicestershire - that's about 3 miles off Hinckley, 9 off Nuneaton and about 13 off Leicester.

I'm attaching some pictures for you guys to look at, but I'll also try and explain the item.
It's a bar which runs beneath the clocks on the bike, has two oval shaped things on each side where the indicators connect into. What else the bar does I'm really not sure, I'm really not a mechanical guy

So anyhow, I've illustrated the images as well - I think you'll find them most descriptive!

Depending on what money is like I may invest in getting the bike back into tip-top condition ready to sell for a good price.

Won't know what money's like till the end of the weekend perhaps, so I'll post back here with news then.

You can fit it in about 20minutes.

I have 1/2 of one still attached to the CBR im on.. I had the grind off the bits that you have snapped

All you have to do is remove the upper and lower fairings and unbolt the clocks.

Well, a theoretical 20 minutes. When it comes to mechanical jobs you can be rest assured I can find every way to make the task go wrong! I get it done in the end, but in a much longer time than you guys

I don't think it should be too hard to fit it - taking things apart is a breeze for me, but it's the putting together that gets me

Anyway, cheers for all your help guys - hopefully I'll manage to get it done.

Have welder, but I dont know whether it's 'do-able' or even worth doing that way from the pics; need to see metal.
IF you are lucky, might be able to fab something up from stock; if not, you know what bit you need; and have tools & guidance here to fit when you get it.
You can drag Easy-Duz over with you for a ride out!
We can have a look at his chain guard while we're at it!

Thanks for the offer Tef, may just have to take you up on that offer!

Me and my dad have been looking at it and we think that the actual bracket is bent, but we're not sure to what extent (other than the indicators aren't flush with the fairing, I never noticed that before).

I can come over with EazyDuz over that's no problem, he's not too far from me.

We can all try and figure out a time, if you like?

Monday to Wednesday is bad for me, but the rest of the week I'm generally just being a lazy sod - so thurs, fri, sat, sun (every other) works for me.
