Okay so my bike is a Rieju mrx 125.. with a Suspected 125 CCM engine.. basically not a standard Rieju engine

Project here https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=220980&start=0

And it's due an oil change..
Obviously it shares it's engine and gearbox oil being a 4 stroke Single but i am unsure what Grade oil to use and how much..
Filling it up can i just go by the dipstick? and do i measure whilst it's on the sidestand or with the bike level

Obviously i drain the oil when it's warm Laughing

I have looked on eBay and according to several sites i Should use 10w 40 like this.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SILKOLENE-COMP-4-10W-40-4-STROKE-ENGINE-OIL-1L-LITRE-/270714379345?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3f07d59c51

Is this right?
thankyou.

the cheapest hafords oil you can find,
the uk barely gets cold enough to warrant a 10w oil
cheap 20w50 will be fine

10W40 is a good guess, although as mentioned the UK is pretty mild so you have other choices.

You can use the dipstick, and should check it with the bike level.

All the best

As its not pumping out immense power and is a basic engine, 10w40 from Morrisons will be fine. I reckon you'll get anything between 900ml and 1litre in the bike, but could be less Neutral

Morrisons oil is like £4
