Just browsing ebay and came across these brake levers.

Surely anyone who uses these are just asking for an amputation?

Any one else got some daft motorcycle inventions/accessories?

Yep, I believe for an MOT leavers have to have a little nubby thing at the end to stop your hand slipping off.
edit- depends on who's testing it apparently

The race headrest - The single most pointless device ever invented - more pointless than fluffy shoes to put on cats so they dust your house for you.

That looks so like an accident just begging to be had!
Have your chin piece of helmet sitting on the rest and have to do a rapid or e-stop and I'm guessing it's gonna slip and punch you right in the throat Very Happy

I always thought the knobs on the end of levers were to decrease the damage to a pedestrian if you clipped someone walking past.

Those blade levers look kinda cool but if you came off, you would have to make sure your hands weren't on the bars.

I find it hard to believe people would pay money for that product.

Whilst broadly similar to the helmet ears, i find the helmet mohicans to be slightly more offensive. They are all worn by the motorcycling equivalents of Colin Hunt.

Look at meeeee, look how wacky and zany and funny i am, please, look at meeeee!

I dunno, I think the Mohicans are quite cool to be honest. Razz

Flip-up number plates/reflective numberplate spray/anything made to hide the numberplate from authority.
They're practically an admittance of criminal activity - before you've done anything. It'd be more legal - and more effective - just to ride without a plate in the first place.

Other than that, I know a guy with a pair of flashing dust-caps on his 125.
