I went to the Revival on Sunday and took some snaps. It's a cracking day out, went last year as well and it was equally as good. Rain stopped play unfortunately and we had to leave before the car park turned into a bog. A real shame as I'm sure the rain made the racing more exciting.

It's a Merc 300SLR driven by Fangio in the 1955 Mille Miglia.

Beautiful car.

Cheers Drew, I've only just got into it myself as well. The shutter speed on the panning shots isn't quite as slow as I'd like but it was my first attempt at it so I'm sure with practice I'll get the hang of it.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I went down to 1/250 and even 1/125 but I really wanted some useable photos from the day as there was some amazing vehicles there.

My plan is maybe to pop along to some club racing or track days and experiment when I don't mind scrubbing 99% of my photos.
