Why isnt this guy dead yet. I love his disregard for health in place of pure food delight but Jesus Christ how the he'll is he still breathing. Also, he's not that big... Well for a yank.

I do love the show though, especially just before eating a meal when I'm hungry, seems to make me appreciate it more than I would.

What are your thoughts?

This is rule number 8, from my handbook, the "guide to good threads in cyberspace".

8~ Dn't expect the reader to do the research. They wont and THey are busy. They have things to do. IF you refer to something, link to it. Otherwise your readers might not have a clue what you are going on about. Always Remember: not everyone watches the same tv shows as you, reads the same books, visits the same places. Assume most of your readership are idiots, as chances, most of them are.

Your handbook sounds truly riveting. Please do send me a copy!

I'm sorry old bean, I presumed people on this forum would think outside the box on this one and either reply because they'd seen the show and/or look it up on YouTube under their Own prerogative.

I bid thee good night!!

You seem to think we GAF, we don't.

Just random bantering on something that I have interest in. If people have seen the show and want to share their views then cool, if they dont give a fuck, as you have said, then that's cool too.

Pretty much fine with me.

Well first and for most. Adam from Man v's Food is my new Jesus.
Not to mention, I class his show as hard core food porn. my friend will watch and get food boners (get really bad munchys).
I enjoy watching him nearly die each week for my entertainment.

But each series he is getting fatter. LOL Thumbs Up Karma Thumbs Up

In all the links he filmed for 'Man Vs Food Weekend' which was on Good Food last month, he's fairly piled on the lard. Laughing

I believe his current season in the US gets other people to do the eating. Probably wise.

I'd love to to a Man Vs Food tour of the States. And then get lipo. Cool

All the food looks soo tasty! When I first saw an advert for the show, I thought that it looked utterly vile. A stupid programme about a stupid American, eating stupidly large portions of food.

Then I watched it and I lol'd! Adam is a great host - apparently he wants to do a UK special. Anyone know anywhere that he should go? Never really seen any restaurants with 'challenge meals' in this country. Unless it is the service station challenge - try and buy a sandwich for less than £10?

Might go there some time, but even for me, the 20 minute limit seems rather harsh.

You didn't link to your rulebook. How are we to judge the overall quality of your rules without this resource Thumbs Down.

Myself have looked and found nothing like in America to the point we have wanted to open a Texas style BBQ pit here in the UK because there is none and I believe it would work.

I believe I'm the man for this job Laughing 20mins should be enough time you've just gotta plan on how you are gonna eat it. But I'm not sure about no drinks rule Rolling Eyes

Man vs Food always makes me hungry though, especially the episodes featuring sandwiches with tons of filling. Just typing this out is making my stomach rumble. But how the hell hasn't he had a heart attack yet? He started off looking fairly trim and now just looks unhealthy.

Imma want a sammich

Well, that's fighting talk!
Sadly my competitive spirit is now thinking about when would be best to suggest for the challenge Razz.

It's the toast that's the killer, without that I reckon it would be easily doable, but then I am a fairly fast eater.

Fool me, that brekie looks awesome.

I'm going to send it to the man vs food website, see if they do something about it.

I would never finish that. Not a chance
