I have had loads of advice on here about doing rider training with an instructor after I got my CBT to be safer on the roads, however I'm unable to find where to actually get trained, I have looked at all the local test centres and they just seem to do the usual tests (CBT, DAS) and post full test training like bike-plus.
Does anyone know where I can go to get some training in Leicestershire near Leicester and thereabouts?

I would suggest, although it looks like this is an avenue you don't want to go down, that you do the training and test so you don't have the added expense of the CBT every 2 years.

Even if it costs you £3-500 for the training and test, you'll have spent that by doing your CBT 3 times (assuming a certain level of inflation in the next few years).

Also, you have a lot more freedom (assuming you get the A2 license) after 2 years, to get a bigger bike, if you want.

Hope that helps,

Andy

Oh I'm definitely gonna do my test, just will probably wait till next spring to do it, I probs couldn't afford to do it earlier.
I just wanted to get some extra training in now so I can be as safe as possible on the road.

Sign up with HRTS and that's what they do. Passing tests is a by product. & £125 is as c heap as it gets; and about half what you pay anywhere else; hence you save roughly the other £125 the tests cost....... could have licence in your pocket by Christmas, and out the way before ever one putting it off until the 'good weather' jumps on the band waggon to get their tests before 3rd directive changes, and the apointment lists go crazy with people putting in for tests on spec and failing them clog the system!

I will deffers look into that mike, tbh I did the 1 hour free ride with the guys over at Hinckley, but had already booked my CBT at nuneaton, although after the hour, I wished I'd booked at Hinkley. I'll give them a ring tomorrow to discuss.
