Thanks once again people! Very Happy
The latest is....

BIKE:
....The bike is slowly recovering. New rearset is on, so I now have gears again ! \o/ ...which helps! Smile
....And hopefully i can borrow a 30mm spanner off some gulliable unsuspecting sod (i.e .... G ! ) in the next few days, so that I can put my new handlebar on. Smile
Then, were pretty much vaguely 'rideable' again!

....Although I have yet to start the engine since the crash.... I'm too scared to! Confused ....I think i'll wait until G comes round, so at least then i'll have a shoulder to cry on if all goes wrong! Smile

ME:
I am also 'slowly' recovering. ...Although i still cant walk properly....and i cant use my left arm much....
But hey!...who needs arms and legs! Smile
As long as i can still type on the keyboard, thats fine! Smile

MONEY:
Bank balance is in crisis. Will probably never recover again. Sad
Oh well, nevermind ...I'm sure thats what student loans are for! Smile

So anyway, basically....all is cool! Cool

Vx

dean in both pics you can see that the bar is snapped, it looks like it is attached in the 2nd picture, but that is actually the fork leg you can see, not the handlebars!
