Replaced the liner in my fish pond as it had split. Not the ideal day for the job, the sweat poured out of me!

I went wakeboarding. The water was warm and flat so perfect for practising my wake to wake jumps and getting some good height. Then a bacon butty and brown sauce followed by a bunch of hanging out and kneeboarding.

Hard day today!

I spent 14 hours in our poxy workshop fabbing up a 6.5m bridge section. And the worst thing is, is that I've got to go back in tomorrow for more of the same.

Welding in this weather is really, really unpleasant.

Crying or Very sad

MrsGixer was at work today, so I was in charge of 4 children (ages from 2 to 12).
Managed to play a bit of BF3 beta, read a book on Crocodiles and Alligators with my 4 year old, looked at pictures of various animals with my 2 year old (this included making the appropriate noise for each animal) - being only 2, he has quite a limited vocabulary, and frequently referred to a variety of different animals (camel, moose, antelope) simply as 'horse'. I did, of course, punish him for his lack of knowledge - I consider his lack of years to be no excuse for ignorance. He does, however, do quite a good impression of an elephant, including using his arm to simulate the trunk.
After a light lunch, whilst the kids played out I mowed the front and back gardens, and once my wife had returned from work, we had a BBQ and I sank 8 cans of cold cider.

My life, it's incredible.

Took the MX5 up to Henley with the roof down. Felt sorry for all the bikers we saw sweltering in all their clobber. There *are* times when a car makes more sense - not always when it's raining.

Rode along some very slippery roads this morning. The dew from the trees was all over slippery tarmac which we came across unexpectedly.

Rode down towards Eastbourne and found the pub that I went to with a friend during the Summer holidays.Sat outside in the pub garden with some good people from on BCF,admired the view and ate good food.

Rode over to my brothers place near Brighton and then rode home in the sweltering muggy heat.

Now drinking cold beer with the fans running in an effort to stay as cool as possible.
