Unless I've missed them....

But what amazing weather we have had this week and now weekend.

I took Friday off work and did about 400 miles, going to Darlington to the A68 and following it up to Jedburgh. I've not done the road on a bike before, but what a great ride. Soo soo hot, to think I was going to put my vented leathers in the loft till next year.

The only sad bit for me, is that I've Sorned my Z, so Friday was it's last ride till April.

Had an unusual weekend off (good timing) had a DAS lesson on Friday morning, fair bit of Mod 1 training bit bloody warm Smile then out for a couple of hours around Mod 2 test routes (Enfield) was great, really enjoyed it.

Out on my own bike on Sat for about 60 miles calling into local-ish Triumph dealer to check out potential new bike Mr. Green found some nice twisty roads and had a blast.

Off to the beach today for a bit with the family (not on bike) then hopefully go out later for another run.

It seems to be almost over in most of Northern England today.
I expect a few will get caught out later as cooler air and a bit of rain is heading slowly south.
It's just gone through here (N.Y.Moors)

Still warm for the time of year but roads will be slippy.

Happened to me last year, got a thigh contusion (deep bruise) which stopped my knee bending enough to get on footpeg or brake.
It took most of 6 weeks before I could ride again but there were very few decent days last autumn.

I've been down to buckingham and oxford (in the car Sad ) at the weekend and I'm gobsmacked by the swathes of bikers I've seen, most of them riding in packs of 4-6. If I go for a tootle around here I might see one or two, but there was droves of them down there, mostly on sports bikes with flashy one piece leathers.

I saw a few different Chapters of the Hells Angels riding together (odd?) down the M40 too.
