I've got 20 cans of rockstar and i'm playing forza 3. not gonna sleep so should be interesting. straight out drinking after as well.

Any tips on how to win the £70 prize? Any tips on how to be epic on a go kart?

Playing Forza 3 was your first mistake. Play Forza 2; It's a better game.

You can't rewind time when you're go-karting.

Just watch out for upside down question mark boxes and banana skins.

Nope, but it is fun.

Isn't there someone on here who races karts? He doesn't like to mention it, so I can't really recall who it is......

Be smooth as Big_Ham said, sideways and sliding is not fast and never will be, although sometimes depending on the corner 'squaring it off' by chirping the rear wheels (locking them) momentarily and rotating the kart around the corner works wonders.

Don't pull to turn the steering wheel, push it with the arm furthest from the apex of the corner and keep it stiff, doing so makes your arm somewhat of a stressed member adding stiffness to the chassis, making it easier to keep a faster corner speed.

Best of luck Dunc, if you use any of the tips above I claim a 20% management fee. Laughing!

So I never won, and most of my time was spent going sideways. Lots of fun though!!

When I got back in the car I managed to crash into the tyre wall in the car park. Oh well.

I want to go again! Mr. Green

It's the best bit about karting...I totally love sliding round corners, but it's not good in the racing stakes. At BCF karting I got right royally shunted from behind for drifting whilst being at the sharp end of the race...!! Ouch!! Shocked
