Sorry brand new to mopeds and managed to buy this one for my son without a manual (willing to purchase a photocopied one if anyone interested) - i know its two stroke - should it be any special type of two stroke or halfords own brand as good as any?

All FULLY synthetic 2 stroke motorcycle oils are good. Don't bother with anything less, the pumps are set for fully synth only.

I personally recommend Castrol Power TTS I think it is!

We use either Silkolene KR2 or Silkolene Pro 2 in our two strokes, it's derived from when I raced and we've never changed as we've never had any issues with our engines when we've used it.

The one time we did run with Castrol it didn't run as well seemingly so we just changed back to the Silkolene.

To be fair, for most two stroke engines any fully synthetic two stroke oil will do but try to stick to decent brands, I've never heard anything good about budget 2T oil.
