Body positioning of the riders ....Reid..Grant..etc.. Shocked
They'd be whooped by the riders of today.

Wouldn't bet on it, hanging off is largely a fashion IMO
Some didn't do it well into the 80s (Trevor Nation?)

I beg to differ.. Very Happy
Casey Stoner case in point. He consistently maintains a higher cornerspeed by dipping his torso near the apex. He can keep the bike that little bit more upright.

Undoubtedly on modern bikes it will give you an edge (done well!)
But bikes then were very different, Roberts mentioned for example different handlebar angles helping to pull the technique together.

I would much rather have seen more of the bikes than a load of ex-GP racers chat about their heyday. The sight of bikes like the XR69 and the TZ500/750 were when I first started working on racebikes so well into my youth by then.

Shame that they misused footage of Roberts dirt tracking while he was explaining about why he needed to tape up his knees to Kel though - very amateurish.
