Playing Words with friends, and this guy played a 3 letter word "JOY" and somehow got 25 points for it and i can't work out how, i asked him and he didn't know either:

My first time playing it so excuse me if it's a pretty obvious reason. Confused

Next go I got a y to add the 'yu' - unfortunately no 'o', which would have been perfect Very Happy

The 'official' scrabble is worth a go- it has a word checker and list of two letter words built in (I prefer it, anyway, though I've only played 'words with friends' on a mobile).
Can select games with turn times under two minutes, five minutes etc.

I think I was originally signed up for an unofficial one that got taken over by them or something, so possible I got it for free from that if you do have to pay - I've certainly never paid for any facebook thing.

Scrabble, despite what everyone usually thinks, is NOT a game about making words up.

It's a wargame about denying your opponent the best territory.

Make sure you claim EVERY SINGLE bonus space you possibly can, no matter how crap/short the word you have to use to do it. You will win. (Unless, possibly, they're cheating with an on-line dictionary Wink

).
