Didn't get caught driving back from Biggin Hill to Maidstone without tax.

Also didn't get caught in the Rover going to work for 3 days with no tax.

Choice is yours... unsure of the fine, think they can take the car..

Hi

If you have just bought it then you should have the new keepers slip from the V5 and you can tax it with that at a post office.

There is no legal exemption from being taxed. There is a minor exemption for displaying tax, but only for 5 days after applying for tax if you have bought it online before the end of the month it expired in.

Otherwise it just comes down to how lucky you are.

All the best

Keith

In short, it is illegal, you can get it taxed using the new keeper supplement but you might not get caught if you drive it anyway.

The choice is yours Thumbs Up .
