No specific help, but I'd risk it personally.

Not sure I've ever really paid much attention to sizes for the front on dirt bikes (though appreciate the 19" off-road bias is a bit different) - just said "a front tyre, please".

If it's any use I put a 140 on my XR when there was a 120 on previously. It went on the wheel fine.

Edit, sorry missed the 'front tyre' bit Doh!

That's only 5 mm wider each side, just the knobs to worry about as a Karoo is quite a chunk tread.

His speedo may be a bit out afterwards as the tyre will alter the diameter of the wheel slightly.

Speedo is probably going to be less out comparing those tyre sizes than a good condition dirt tyre and a worn one Smile.

If it's just tread blocks I would take a carving knife to them.

Still far too close even for the old knife to the tread block trip, the bike even has no override for the ABS and has linked brakes, certainly not built for offroad use.

Oh yer l beat him here by 24 hours thats got to be a first for a English man against a Norwegian, can someone let Sir Ranulph Fiennes know........... Laughing
