Hello all. I got back to my motorbike after a few hours to find that a screw had embedded itself within the rear tyre (hurrah!). The bike is a Bandit 600 so I am after some recommendations for a tyre that is good in the wet and has a good amount of grip. How long it last isn't really an issue as I will be changing it again around April. So really, something to get me through the coming winter months.

Quite happy with the pilot road 2, but i keep hearing good things about the angel st. IIRC they were used n some world record attempt and won.

Publicity eh...

Should think that any of the latest multi compound ST tyres will be upto the job.

I decided to go for a rear Michelin Pilot Road 3. £135 lighter, it better be good!

I was going to get a new tyre sometime soon for winter anyway. Not 100% sure if it could have been repaired as it was quite close to the edge and I believe there is a limit on repairing the tyre.

I have just had a look at the tracking, and the tyre is coming from Germany. Seems a bit unusal. Anyway, I cannot wait to compare this to the current Metzeler Z6 that is on there at the moment.
