Excellent things especially if your bike uses a strainer instead of an oil filter.
Collects metallic sludge...Yum yum. Thumbs Up

Definitely worth fitting one, as said above, collects all the crap and sludge, could save you a lot of money in the long run.
I wouldn't be without one.
First line of defence mate.
Good luck mate.

I'm using one as a potential early warning / precaution against the internals eating themselves...

In the past I've been known to run a magnetic pick up tool thru the drained oil to double check that there's no metal swarf etc in there

My KTM enduro runs four filters - two plastic mesh type and two paper filters. And there are ALWAYS metal fillings stuck to the OEM magnetic drain bolt.I have also fitted some extra magnets into the paper filter oil covers and these also attract some metallic debris stuck to the inside whenever I change them.

I have dismantled a few computer hard drives over the years and the very strong magnets that are used inside I have used on the outside of the cartridge spin-on oil filters on the family cars. When I first started to use them I was not too sure of their affect on helping to stop metallic debris from circulating around our engines. So I cut open one of my daughters oil filters and was surprised by just how much debris had accumulated over 5,000 miles on a 100,000 mile engine.
