So what would you change/enforce if you ruled the UK?

Me? 1. no more building on green any land.
2. Local govenment would be required to reduce business rates for small businesses to encourage growth.
3. Large supermarkets would not get the co-operation/colusion they get from local authorities now.
4. Immigrants would be required to show that they can contribute the this country`s well being.
5. All ladies between the ages of 18 and 50 would be required to do 1 hour of naked tramoplining on order to qualify for a passport Smile .
6. Village Post-offices, churches, pubs, & village hall would all be exempt from council tax.
7. Every village would be required to have a public phone box.
8. Anybody who disagrees with me is an enemy of the state Shocked .
9. And one to win you lot over to my side= motorbikes will be exempt from road tax Thumbs Up

I'd put Hetzer in charge and then make good my leave.

Watch as things unfold from a safe distance. Bermuda should be outside the containment zone so I'd base myself there.

Implement Jefferson's principle that all laws shall expire at the end of 19 years (withdrawing from the EU or just ignoring them as required).

That ought to keep the statute book down to a reasonable size.

Free Parking to residents in town center car parks

A restriction on the amount of hand car washes in one area

Same applies to Golf Courses, no need for 4 golf courses in one city (like here) and at least one would be served a compulsory sale order and then changed to parkland.

People working in Garage's, convenience stores and the like must have a basic grasp of english and at least be able to understand which cigs i want without me having to direct their hand from the other side of the counter! (pall mall, the red ones...no thats blue, no they are JPS, left a bit, no thats right, other way etc etc etc)

I might also restrict the amount of Tesco's in one city too

Similarly for me, for every new law passed 2 must be repealed.

They might get the hint when murder became legal just so the DVLA could introduce another bit of compulsory bureaucracy.

All the best

Withdraw from the EU would be the first thing I would do.

Tighten up immigration and impliment the "This is the UK not [insert country] and you will live by our laws" law and anyone breaking them gets deported.

Why force someone to do something they may have absolutely no interest in? You may as well state:

Compulsory spending a year riding a horse on public roads before applying for a bike license.

I'd agree with most of this.. Although I think -

1 - People should pass a general 'Im not a dim wit tool' before being allowed in public. I suppose we'd lose half the population!

2 - I dont think politicians should be paid. The people should be in control, not some over paid hand puppet.

3 - There is no 3 Cool

They're doing a job (whether well or otherwise is a matter of opinion of course), therefore they ought to be paid. However, I strongly believe that they ought to be be paid whatever the average wage for the country is; c. £26k at the moment, and this would rise or fall depending on how well the country is doing as a whole.

Why wait 19 years? We could withdraw from the EU now in theory by repealing the European Communities Act 1972 - unlikely to happen but possible nonetheless.

The only thing you would need to change is the politicians and voting.

Scrap all politicians. We would need some kind of new voting system and get rid of the bollocks they use now.

People submit suggestions to laws online. The top however many with the most votes from the public are to go to the prime minister who then goes on live TV (bit like a game show) and addresses the nation with the top suggested laws. Everyone watches at home and votes on which should be passed and which shouldn't.

End of the show, everyone knows which new laws have been passed and doesn't just find out about them when they're actually being prosectued for it.

It's a concept idea and needs much tweaking but something like that would be fairer. Also the prime minister gets put on the same TV show twice a year and the entire country votes whether to keep them or not.

Do you have much contact with the general public?

The average person is an utter mongtard with little more than a basic grasp of how to wipe their own ass, the general public are the people that watch the only way is essex, buy OK magazine and give a shit about what troglodyte katie price is marrying next.

I can appreciate politicians are worse, but they are worse in different ways Wink .

I think we just need to remove the weighting of the political parties, i.e. people who voted conservative ONLY because labour were so incompetent rather than voting for an independent who might share their views entirely.

I would do the following:

-> In out referendum on the EU (legally binding)
-> A referendum on immigration (legally binding)
-> Raise speed limit to 95mph, add a defence to speeding and driving without due care that nobody was engdangered by the speed.
-> Build new nuclear power plants to supply 120% of the electricity for the UK. Power plants to be surrounded by 30ft flood walls and multiple razor wire and electric fences on top, with the generators on the roof of the plant.
-> Increase nuclear warheads stocks to 500+, which should give China and India something to fear.
-> Ban any doctors, dentists and consultants doing work outside the NHS if they recieve any NHS funding. Private health companies will face private health companies tax at 50% which will go straight into the NHS.
-> Legalise pepper spray that can be linked to the user, and so link the criminal to the crime. Pepper spray would have to be registered with the police and would be prohibited for previously jailed violent offenders, robbers ect. Make "self-defence of home" a legal reason for owning a shotgun. Legalise single shot target pistols with firearms licence so athletes can train in their sport.

Not really, it's quite common in Europe at the minute. My personal view is that is neverally really see Nijab people and certainly never see Burka people, so it would make no real difference to me personally. However, I realise in other parts of the UK it's a real problem, and they should be allowed to deal with it if they want to.

Of course if you want to get to the Muslims, make it illegal for any religious institution to refuse to marry any two people, that will get right on their nerves Wink

CBT would be practical

They deserve more than £26K. Their job involves more than the average £26K job involves. A similar job in the private sector would be north of £50k. We'd also like good people doing the job!

Ahh but we do have the European Union Act 2011 now, which is the biggest bit of PR/spin/Bullsh1t of the year...

Call me Dave (Cameron) will just act anti-integrationist at the elections to get votes, the be pro-integrationist when he gets in. It will be interesting to see how long he can keep it up before the public stop fooling for it or the anti-integrations either leave or kick him out. The great thing is now UKIP is a strong party, there is more pressure on him to keep his word.
