 |
|
Well, it's seemed like a long journey to get a license and bike of my own but in reality it's only been a couple of months.
Anyway tomorrow I'm picking up the Versys so today is officially my last day of train commuting (apart from when I'm going out drinking after work, etc).
Feels sooo good. Just wanted to share |

You'll miss the train when it's cold and wet. The good thing is - you can always swap now

Not for me, I insured the CG for if it snows ____________________ CBT: 12/06/10, Theory: 22/09/10, Module 1: 09/11/10, Module 2: 19/01/11

I commute 40 miles (each way) up the A13 into London (currently on a Chinese CG125 copy) recently passed so will be on a bigger bike very soon!), so much better than train, even my 125 can beat my train commuting time by 20~30 minutes. Not to mention cost, train cost was the wrong side of £4000, my 125 costs £100~£120 a month. Granted a big bike will be costlier than the 125 but still cheaper than a train and a lot more fun. However, I'm still budgeting for 1 or 2 monthly season tickets when the snow & ice kick in (prob Jan/Feb).
I also have a BMW C1 that I use when I think it's going to rain, can sit at 70mph all day, I get laughed at but I don't care |
