which one to go for?

Ok I have a problem and need some objective advice like as asap. Two bikes same price, pretty much same number of ks on the clock I want a sport tourer, so its a toss up between the vfr 800 and a 2007 blackbird, which one in your opinion is the better bike?

I'd go for the VFR personally. While both bikes are top touring bikes the 800 is an established comfortable bike thats quick enough for riding for hours on end without getting bored.

The Blackbird is a license killer. Its deceptivly fast. When I say deceptivly fast imagine cruising along at 40mph on your local dual carriageway and you look down and realise you are doing twice that.

Imagine crusing at 70 on the motorway, all nice and gently and all of a sudden you glance down and your into 3 figures.

Besides insurance will be cheaper on the 800 normally.
