Well done Tommy Hill.
Possibly the best 2 laps i've seen this year.

Kiyo who?

Awesome, the best superbike race I've ever seen, glad Tommy won but Hopkins has been a revelation this year, top riding from them both.

Loved it, possibly one of the best races i've seen. I was lucky enough to be at the Donnington Round and at Brands yesterday. The last few laps were stunning, the atmosphere was amazing. Got there early, maybe about 9am then left after the final race, top day though. I bet Hopper is gutted about the electronics issue from sunday race 1 as that's really where he lost the title.

Well played to Him and Hill though. I'm kinda happy Hill got it though, Hoppers has had the exposure and is pretty much looking to be destined to GP, so Hill winning it has got to help his career. I feel sorry for the Cresent Suzuki lot though, met them at Donnington, spent a while talking to Jack Valentine and they all seemed like a good bunch of blokes.

Shame about some of the bad crashes, especially the Superstock 1000 race. I was along the Brabham Straight when it happened, didn't look nice at all.

What's the news on the Superstock rider who got belted by a bike? He got up then last seen stretchered off.

The 125 race was also one of the best. Guiver does need a bigger bike tho. Laughing

Shows how tough it is when the British 125 champion hasn't got a ride for 2012.

I did hope Ben Wilson would get Kawasaki a few more wins. (He does look like a cancer victim tho)

Looking forward to the season review.

Awesome season and a great finale.
I know its easy to say when your watching on TV but it seemed like Hopper had the pace to pass Ellison earlier, as he seemed to sit behind him for ages whilst Tommy was struggling but as soon as Tommy passed the both of them Hopper overtook Ellison and caught Tommy straight away, maybe he should have gone sooner and tried to gap him a little.
I know its hindsight now as if either rider had not missed a race earlier in the season they would have probably won and if the old points system was still being used Shakey would have been champion.
Jack Burnicle sounded like he was having some kind of breakdown on the last lap Laughing

Just watched this, recorded it from before. Amazing. best final laps of a bike race I have ever seen. As the commentators said "this is blokes racing".

I'm surprised you saw anything or met anyone.
Donnington is in Telford. 60 odd miles away from Donington........

Crazy to think that the British 125cc Champion hasn't got a contract for next year (not sure if he has now?) but Bradley Smith has got a three year contract for another year in Moto2 then two years in MotoGP, that's insane.

We know the Smiths and that contract came in the nick of time, we run a company and we compete with him but chat occasionally and if he didn't get a contract this year he'd have been fucked, his Dad is completely out of money basically, it's been costing him around £350,000 a year of his own money. Shocked.
