Well, Ive never owned any of the above helmets, but I have experience of Arai helmets in general.

Arai are, in my opinion, the best helmet manufacturer. The quality is outstanding. Always get an arai if you can.

Shoei are OK as far as I know. No complaints from anybody that I've heard but they dont have the same level of service as arai do as far as im aware (Do correct me if im wrong).

From what I've heard both on here and from other bikers, AGV isn't all its cracked up to be. Apparently the consumer helmets are rather bad quality and are quite noisy.

SO, go with the Arai Thumbs Up

Tried on loads of helmets including Shoei, Shark, Arai etc. and found the Arai to be hands down the best fit and most comfortable helmet of the bunch. Bought the arai axces as my first lid and have been very happy with it so my next helmet will also be an Arai. Shoei were an awful fit for me but everybody's heads are different. To that end you should really try loads of helmets, as a good fit is the most important aspect of helmet choice imo.

I have an AGV S4 and find it great - cost me £150 or thereabouts with 25% discount.

I've seen it described as being noisy compared with some - and I wouldn't disagree with that, but then again my experience is fairly limited. It did seem a good buy price-wise and it comes with integral sun visor /shades as well !

I wasn't too thrilled at the chin fastening at first, being used to the older ring type, but it seems to work well once I got used to it.

As others have said - try several on and pick the one best suited to your head and pocket !
