Honda CG 125 Oil Drain O-Ring

Hey,
I'm trying to source a part for my 1998 Honda CG 125 W. Its the O-Ring that fits onto the oil drain plug. (The drain plug on the left hand side of the engine which fits over the mesh).

I've checked ebay, Dave Silver etc but can't find it. I would prefer to get it off the internet as i currently have no free time to go to the Honda garage.

I've got one here sat on my desk. Brand new, unused, complete with drain plug itself.

It's yours if you want it. You can come and get it or I'll leave it with Mark next time I'm round.

?? it`s an o-ring?
Surely if you take the old one to a bearings shop, they will be able to match it and for about a third of the price Honda would charge you.
I went to Bury-St-Edmunds market on a Saturday and bought an assortment pack for just £1 off one of the stalls.

I use them on my bikes, airguns, and hp pump without any problems.
There is to much "hype" talked about o-rings.
Only a very few chemicals will affect o-rings.

Many moons ago I had an o-ring fail on one of my Suzuki`s.
Suzuki price = approx £4.50, Market price = 6 pence ish?
Market o-ring never failed

Thats great Would you give it to Mark for me the next time you see him. The oil isn't due a change for another 500miles yet.

I know that the OP has the O Ring problem sorted, but this might be of use to other forum members; for £7.57 how could it not be part of your tool kit.

And yes it has O Rings that will fit the CG125 sump plug too.

Nice but a bit excessive when a whole new sump plug + o ring costs that much from the stealer How often do you need one other than in this case?

BTW, can Honda not deliver? Give the nice man in the parts dept your card details, and ask them to post it out to you for the sake of an extra 50p charge for a stamp?

Wish I'd thought of that earlier actually, it would have saved me a couple quid in petrol diverting off my usual route home, in the car, to pick the thing up when I ordered it from them!

BTW the market rings are probably A-OK but the same doesn't hold for watch straps and Micro USB cables bought in such places :-/
