my local bike shop just changed owners and the new guy is selling off the old stock to make room for nice things.
so i'm gonna get a VFR400 NC24, about 1989/89 for £875. then i'll service it over winter - brakes need doing and carbs will need a clean, i'll ride it from early next year when i can vaguely afford the insurance. my best quote yet was 680 TPO from clickquote, i'll try rampdale on monday.

I've seen G's flatmates bike - it's in pretty good condition, obviously it's not mint but it's perfectly ridable and reasonable looking (though personally I'm not that keen on the early VFRs looks, though apparently they do go well!)
