you mean the llanberis path.
You can park at Llyn Padarn i think.
But i used to park alongside a row of houses before the llanberis route starts up the road hill. Some terrace houses on the left. But i have a feeling that these may be permit only now. Used to park there at ridiculous times when doing 3 peaks.
CYcling would be fun, pretty technical id imagine. Would defiently like to do that some day. Enjoy! |

I walked up it a few weeks back, completely up prepared, in trainers and jeans... Ended up taking the Crib Goch route up in bad conditions, on a few occasions I genuinely feared for my life!
You can park right at the bottom but be shore you know which way you're coming down as you can end up miles from your car but that's less of a worry as you on a push bike!

Pen Y Pas isn't really much good for cycling up, the two routes up from there are The Pyg and the Miner's.
The Pyg has a lot of big boulders, and the Miner's is fine to start with but is interrupted by a scramble.
The Watkins route from Betws is ok, until you get near the summit where there's a scramble.
So I'm going to assume the Llanberis route following the train tracks. In which case, you need to in Llanberis town on the Dolbadarn. Think it's about £5 for the day. Sorted ____________________ Avast! Pirates ahoy!

What they all said
I went up it a few months ago as part of the 3 peaks challenge. I couldnt imagine it being too easy to ride a bike up, towards the top it all really becomes a bit of a scramble/train dodge ____________________ Current Ride: Daytona 600 |
