Well, I just got back from Holiday, and during my time there, I spent an hour horseriding - it was great Thumbs Up Mr. Green , I think I might take it up Very Happy.

Anyone here do it regularly?

I did it a few times when I was younger and loved it. Not done it for ages though, but I would like to again at some point.

Here is a good forum for riding: https://www.newrider.com/

I've always fancied zooming round on Horses, and I took a huge liking to it when I finally got the opportunity, Admittedly the riding tack makes you look like a bit (like a lot) of a tit, but I still think Horseriding is very satisfying Smile .

Two wheels, engine. Yes.

Teeth, hooves.

I used to own a grey Arab called Shadow when I was (a) younger and (b) lived in Dublin by the beach.

Absolutely nothing can beat the feeling of galloping down a deserted beach at six in the morning on a fantastic horse with my Husky dog running alongside. Both of them loved swimming, and we had some wonderful times.

Both gone to animal heaven now.

Crying or Very sad

My ex-girlfriend had a horse, she never let me ride it though for some reason (probably after seeing what I did to my old bike).

I once road a donkey, but it's not quite the same Sad .

animals are unpredictable, no matter how good the rider is, every horse is different, and you arent gonna be able to control a horse if it decides it wants to do something stupid

horses got the better of 'superman' and thats all the reason i need, not to go near one Thumbs Up

There were 2 people on horses on the road today on a rideout, country lane me and 3 other bikes pulled out onto the road, saw the horses and slowed down, one of them started walking sideways/backwards and generally not doing what the rider was trying to make it do Confused Which is fucking annoying when you want to progress on with your rideout and your stuck with this horse in front of you dangerously rearing back all whilst wondering if you should overtake or not!

Horses are creatures with minds of their own Cool .
Apart from that fairly general statement, I'm too tired to argue Laughing .

well, i do horseriding (showjumping) 13 years, and it's a great felling. If u want to success, u have to cooperate with ur horse, to be able to understand it and to help it. And the horse is going to do her best. It's team work Smile
