Hi, I am new to the forum and fairly new to biking (4 months) and need some advice on a bike. I am 16 currently and am riding round on my restricted kymco super 8 50 (ped boi badman Mr. Green ) but I am getting fairly bored and want to get a geared 125 for my next step up.
I have found this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2007-07-REG-YAMAHA-YBR-125-FUEL-INJECTION-/270842905365?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item3f0f7ec315#ht_987wt_1140 and wondered what you think about it.
I am going to see it at 3pm so is there anything I should look for in particular?
Thanks in advance

Well I went and had a look, it all seemed in order (I couldn't test ride it being only 16 but he rode it down for a bit to the meeting place so it can't be TOO much of a death trap Laughing )
stuck a deposit down, he handed me the owners manual, the last VT20 and the service book and said he would deliver it when I (read my mum) get the money together.
So I am hopefully the soon to be new owner of a YBR 125. Result Thumbs Up

Well still have your CBT valid for a year, so when you turn 17, insure it and go.

Gears are simple to grasp, just remember the left lever is no longer a brake and you cant just stop at lights, you need to change gear and remember to pull in the clutch Laughing

Hopefully you shouldn't be doing that at any Laughing When your slowing down, change through the gears whilst doing it. You should be in the correct gear to just ride away in should you need to start speeding up after slowing down Smile

But you'll get the hang of it all Very Happy Welcome to the forums, and from what I've heard from others you've bagged yourself a nice little bike Thumbs Up

Yup, that looks like a smart purchase. No pictures of the bent subframe though?

Damn, whatever bike I look at it always seems to have a bent subframe! Laughing I saw a CBR on gumtree for the same price before this but it was sold already Thumbs Down but this is the most sensible choice in the long run I think (less expensive insurance and no fairings to break if I drop it)
