Well, a fair few months ago my mate wrote off his NSR, so I went and bought the wreck for £160. Over time, I eventually managed to get bits of the thing and put them on my bike Smile.

Today I went down and finished the disassembly, bringing load after load of NSR stuff up to my house from my mate's garage where what's left of his NSR (a bit of a frame and a swingarm) is now.

Now, here's all the bits that I scavenged from the NSR. Think i'll make my £160 back? Very Happy

Unfortunatley, i don't think the mirror will fit older NSR's, but don't worry it's not a loss, because that mirror is in fact broken and has had the glass replaced with plastic, which is why i took it off my bike Rolling Eyes . I put it there because i nicked a similar mirror from his bike Smile. There's other bits i nicked too, but they're already fitted to my NSR Smile .

In all seriousness though, will I make back my money by selling the complete engine? It looks to be in decent condition, the piston and barrel are fine, more I can't say without stripping it, and i've done enough stripping for one day. Cool .

You should be able to get at least 150 for a working low-ish mileage NSR engine. Which reminds me, I have one of those to sell too... If anyone needs one. Smile
