Ok I couldnt see the point in going round n round roundabouts before but now I think I am addicted, especially now that I have witnessed the sparks myself.

Luke: its not actually difficult at all on the VFR, I am sure if you can get your knee down on your NSR you will find it easy on a VFR400/CBR400 as it feels more stable, so you are able to hang off with confidence.
