Looks bigger than the standard one.

Must be something do with with that big lump welded into the middle of the swingarm.

Prints the picture and wanders off furtively to lock himself in the toilet to 'think' about that bike

That is pretty. Drooling

it's the dump pipe from the turbo so yes Wink

zak, you have no taste

not only is that swingarm a work of art it is also essential to have any hope of keeping the front wheel down Wink

judging by the fact that the chicken strips on the rear are up to the edge of the tread and it had only been on the road 5 minutes before this was taken I'd say it handles ok

besides I know the guy who owns it and I'd say it'll go round corners just fine Wink

Like the look Thumbs Up

However, I'm a bit confused Confused
With so many mods, both cosmetic and engineering, when does this bike, and indeed any other, stop becoming a ZX10 (or whatever) and start to be the bike formally known as... ?

Just what in the holy F*ck is that!!! It looks amazing, bar the swingarm, i guess the extra length and reinforcing is there to resist the forces. What's the peak bhp on that thing if it's dynoed? I bet you my old NRG can beat that !!! lol Razz

Has it been modified for drag racing, or is it for road use? I only ask because of the swingarm...

Does that just scream"I am the antichrist in motorcycle form" or what? Evil or Very Mad

Just look at the swingarm extension forchristsakes, there's a good reason for that or should that be 310 good reasons for that.

Granted it looks mental as a bag of badgers but would you really want to own something like that? The power must be insane but how useable is it?

Looks sweet until you set eyes on the back end, as rough as a badgers balls but i'm sure the picture doesn't do it justice, better seen in the flesh perhaps.

That's not an extension, or anything welded onto the swingarm. It's a totally new, mega reinforced swinger designed for the loony's that like to go faaast Very Happy
Very very nice.
Rory: The extra length on the swinger changes the CofG on the bike, allowing loads more power to be applied without the front lifting. Perfectly road legal too Twisted Evil

I doubt it changes the center of gravity that much, but it will lengthen the distance from the back wheel to the front, which will mean the force required to raise the front will be increased.

I only asked because I've got a couple of mates with actual drag bikes, and longer swingarms, which was why I was wondering if the owner was going to use it on the road or competitively.
