Fastest Ban Ever?

Tonight, a spammer using the name ''ininout'' joined the forum and stuck three identical spam threads in three seperate sections. In the space of less than half of an hour he was banned.

Without shooting my own rocket*, often spammers are deleted within a few minutes or less - the fact you don't see it is because "the system works" .

The way it works now, threads can more easily be removed if they have no replies - so as ever, could people mark as spam, but not reply to spam threads .

*More topical than banging drums, but also easier to be misinterpreted too.

Why can a banned member still start a thread or post in existing threads?

Are you banned as in 'banned' or just marked as being a bit of a Mr. Naughty?
