Smells like troll spirit.

But hey I'll bite. Stop being a wank and replace the clutch - Its your life your gambling on for the sake of a couple hours labour and £40

Replace them all, if you pay £100 for a clutch plate you are a mug, you should be able to get a whole clutch, including the steels for less than that.

Does it matter if the no.1 plate is broken?

It isn't destroyed just snapped in 1 place.
Been quoted £100 for a new one.

Take it to the garage that holds engines for years on end and then fixes them for free, I am sure they will do it for £1.94 and a punch to the throat.

As a minimum:

New clutch basket, new friction plate.

If I was you:

New basket, set of new friction plates, set of steel plates, set of springs. New oil and filter, and make sure you find the broken pieces, bam.

The way I see it, you've got three options:

1.) Buy another clutch plate. I believe EBC make clutch parts, not just Hyosung.

2.) throw the whole bike in a skip

3.) Kill yourself - because if you're thinking of continuing to ride the bike with a split clutch plate like that, you're a moron.

In all seriousness Warped, I wouldn't ride a bike with a broken clutch plate and you shouldn't either, get it sorted before you get it back on the road.

Are there any good Hyosung parts suppliers, like david silvers but for Hyos?

It IS a consumable so they must be available, if a garage is charging £100 to replace it then that would include about an hour and a half labour and 100% mark up on parts, suggesting the plate itself is somewhere around the £20 mark. You could always ask them to order the plate and sell it to you if you struggle to source it yourself.

How worn are the other plates? Does a clutch kit include the no1 plate?

If so it might be an idea to just change the lot.

This.

If you value the bike and your life, then I'd change it. If you don't, then throw the bike in a skip and kill yourself. Simple innit?

Pull all the plates, mic them up for spec and replace all of the out-of-spec ones and that broken plate.

Its in the USA but it does show us that EBC do make a clutch kit for the GT650... EBC are UK based, so you should probably just call them and ask if you can get one here. I'm sure you'll be able to.
