I bought a Hawk slip on can for my ER5 (hacksawed the old one off) - it's nice but even with the baffle in it's a touch loud for my taste, now I'm regretting doing the mod (it's a bit tiresome on a 40 mile commute) and I'm wanting to go back to something a bit quieter - naturally the stock can won't go back on (because it was a welded can and needed cutting off) so I'm after a 'stock' slip on can with a 60mm hole. Any ideas..?
Cheers.

Can you not get someone to weld the original can back on?

That would've been an option had I not already binned it! It only takes a few mins to remove so it might be nice having the option of either anyway. I think I may have found something though...

Ive always found microns to be fairly quiet and most of them have big inlets.

Pretty much any can that has a removable baffle and is E marked will be quiet with the baffle in, it wouldn't have got the E mark if it was loud. Buy one that comes with a link pipe for your bike and the inlet size is irrelevant.
