I have been doing a lot of miles recentally (over 400 a week) so thought I'd see what sort of MPG I have been getting. The average from the last 3 tanks is 40mpg.
This is from a 1.8 petrol Ford Focus on a T plate with 203k miles on the clock...
The latest tank returned 392 miles (still had just under 1/4 tank left) and was £58 to fill it. 39.6 mpg. This is also with a steady right foot!
What are you lot getting? ____________________ || Past: 1991 Kawasaki ZXR 250 ~ 2003 Honda CBR 600 F Sport ~ 2004 Kawasaki ZX6R B1H 636 ~ 1999 Yamaha R1 ~ 1999 Kawasaki ZX6R J ~ 2004 Kawasaki ZX6R B1H 636 ~ 1998 Honda VTR1000F Firestorm ~ K1 GSXR 600 Track bike ~ K6 GSXR 1000 ~ 2006 Speed Triple 1050 || Current: 2005 R1 https://www.adrucore.co.uk |

around 40-42 mpg in my MR2. When I'm commuting to work it gets driving like a nun, do have plenty of times where I'm booting it as well. It has a wee 1.8 VVT engine, but it doesn't weigh anything to economy's surprisingly decent.
The 600F returns around 35 mpg and doesn't get ridden that sympathetically. ____________________ My Flickr |

Honda Jazz 1.4 averages 39mpg, but gets used for loads of short school runs up steep hills. Get it on some quiet A roads and it’ll do 50mpg no problem.
CB500 averages 54mpg and I’ve got it to 64mpg in the past. Never dipped below 50mpg.
CBR600F currently averaging 48mpg on my daily commute.
I use Moto Minder on the iPhone to track all my fuel and servicing. It’s a bit American (gas log, etc) but it keeps a record of what I want to know. ____________________ 2016 CBF1000F - Commuter heaven | 1994 CBR600FR - Awaiting defibrillation |

Around 45 - 50mpg from a 1.2 Fiesta.
That's doing a mostly stop/start 40 mile round commute each day, averaging about 20mph.
In the MR2 I was getting about 25 - 30mpg doing the same drive. ____________________ Space Monkey #7

Not clocked the new bike yet (Daytona 650), probably about 45-50 mpg, SV did 62, got it down to 50 with commuting though but was doing it more than 5 mins faster than in the car, and theres no filtering..
Punto 1.2 sporting 6 speed, 43 mpg average, my old BMW 328 did about 20 but was ever so slightly more fun

Car (BMW 318 touring) = 30mpg
Bandit = 55mpg
I do enough miles on the bike (about 7,000 a year - mostly commuting) that the petrol saving against taking the car more than pays for running the bike ____________________ Honda Varadero 125cc => Suzuki Bandit 650 33bhp => 77bhp =>

Hi
Ones I have checked recently.
Jaguar X Type 2.5 - 28mpg in average use, 30mpg average use but without short journies (cold starts seem to hammer it). 36mpg on a long 70mph motorway journey. Figures taken from the trip computer that is a bit optimistic (ie, 28mpg on the trip computer worked out at 26mpg when checked brim to brim on the same tank).
Alfa 156 2L TS - 31mpg in normal use with no effort to be good. 37mpg if being good on the motorway.
Kawasaki ZZR600 - 64mpg being good on the motorway, about 58mpg on the motorway if not being good.
All the best
