I think its quite tasty looking for any bike, petrol or electric.

Range and speed will probably be pretty poor though, not much you can do about that until battery technology (or super capacitors) improves enough to make them workable.

I think it looks awesome, i really like it. Kinda looks like someone has crashed a new fireblade into the back of an old caferacer in some kinda weird experiment...

But it's nice, i'd have one now if it had a petrol engine/the electric one wasn't terrible/cost a fortune to replace batteries...

Not bad, I'd lick a 12v battery for a go on that (and I hate licking batteries).

I dont like it. Looks like someone has done a cut n shut job with two completely different styled bikes. Neutral

Electric bikes do seem to be all about the styling - which is understandable as the internals are all very basic relatively and are still rather limited by battery power.

So far I think they only really make sense for short-distance town commuting.
Have recently joined the 'electric vehicle' club with a two wheeler, though mine's a mountain bike. Liking it so far - push bike means less hassle than a motorbike and it still easily beats a car around town.

In that case you want this:

Yes, but no.
For my uses I'm quite happy with cheaper lead acid and would have no desire to use it to power other stuff, never mind spend silly amounts on designer stuff that's more likely to get nicked Smile.

My current steed is based on an old cheap saracen; even had another cyclist asking if it was a big drum brake at the front.

Weren't you complaining about the cost of commuting? Wink
(Though, for something like this the cost per mile in batteries makes up a lot for the saving in energy source.)

Agreed. While that is a very nice looking bike. And I'm sure it'll handle and stop just as well as it looks. Part of the appeal, for me, of sports bikes are the noise. The grumble when they fire up, the change in RPM and smoothness when they warm up, the little rev before I set off, the drone when I'm trundling up my street, the noise of the cam whirring up, the induction whine and growl that raises to a scream when I'm wide open throttle.
I think when you take that away from a bike, you take away it's soul.

I'd never trust a bike looking like that on the back end just doesn't look safe expect a bar to at least hold the seat up.

Does remind me of a street fighter that someone created on here though (Pure black bike) mixed with an Italian sports bike.

I'd have one if it wasn't for current battery tech having a life of ~5 years. To replace costs an arm and a leg. Really like the look of it though.

They say 250cc class body, but what actual power class is this EV in?
