|
|
These motorcycle sunglasses are designed and imported from the USA with safety and style in mind. The lenses give a 400 UVB/UVA block as well as being impact and scratch resistant
Designed with a foam infill which seals around your eyes when riding with full face, open face or visor up.
Meaning no more tears, flies or grit in your eyes!
They are good for all sports where speed and wind in the face is a problem. The lens features a fully vented anti-fog system.
When bought from a well known American outlet in the UK you could pay up to as much as £130.00, but without the logo they come at a fraction of their true value. All glasses come protected in their own storage pouch. Check them out at www.motorcyclesunglasses.co.uk

With all due respect Bendy, bad biker has only made four posts and they have all been about this sale on this thread.
Appreciated it is a sale and not spam, but does the forum want to be used for people to just hop on and sell things, maybe it does, if so, I will shut up.
Other forums I have been on do not like people just jumping on a forum to sell something then buggering off.

This is from UK Bike Forums, made me chuckle, all that pish
1. If you are just signed up to flog your product. Sod off!!!
2. We're a friendly bunch on here but we need members to help the site grow. To get a free ad, you need to give something back to the site. Make a couple of posts, even if its just to say hello and your 'for sale' item will be more than welcome.
3. Anyone who sells an item with their first post will have it removed from the site. You will be given one week to show that you are willing to come back and post and then you will be banned from the site. If you do return within that week and making a post (Other than, 'where's my ad gone') you're for sale post will be restored.
We run this place out of our own pocket, so don't rip the pish. A couple of posts in exchange for a ad ain't gonna kill you. You might even like it...
I think that is fair comment.... ____________________ Mr Pants! (Alex or Al)

First I would like to thank all of you who have sent me support e mails and yes I will discount you all when you order.I am not on this forum just to sell. I have been a biker for 20 years. If anyone wants to see the bike I have built up in the last 18 months e mail me through the site www.motorcyclesunglasses.co.uk and I will send you a pic. i marketed this, on this and many other forums in the belief that I was doing something to help the biker community as these are a safety item. One outlet in the UK charges £130 for these I don't. yes I am making some money here but believe me its not a lot. If you have read my story in my other posting you will understand why. Take it in the spirit it is given guys. chill I am going to be about for some time.By the way I have contacts all over the states for custom bike stuff and will gladly help anyone who asks. Here is an example. I have just got a carb for a friend for his Harley evo £580 to £620 over here for a 45mm carb. £450 from a mate of mine in the Us and it came with all to fit it even the oil to do the cable. |

To add to it, the definition of the spam rating is "Use this reason only if you spot a blatant piece of unsolicited commercial advertising, similar to what you would term junk mail." and if I got a flyer trying to sell me those glasses through the door I would see it as junk mail, maybe others might not be, but it is a blatant piece of unsolicited commercial advertising to me, hence the spam rating. |

Good question.... Should it be allowed.
It is really down to the forum owner, if he is happy for this to take place, then we are all happy, if he does start to get spammed to death by loads of people, then time to change the rules.
Another interesting question, why do others ban it, like G says, it may encourage people to come on and have a look?

It all depends really on what you consider spam, or junk mail really, which like most of the other post ratings is down to personal opinion I reckon. |

It seems there are some un written rules of which I was not aware .
Perhaps my direct approach offended some of you.
As this was the first forum I had been on I was unaware of the specific protocols that some people seem to require to accept new people and enterprise.
So lets put this behind us and move forward. I hear what you are saying about spam I hate it to, but as I have said on many occasions I believed I was offering you a service. How would it be if you went to macdonalds to get a burger and they refused to serve you because they thought you were over weight ? As I said before take it in the spirit it is given. And my offer still stands on the custom bits I will help anyone who asks, thats the kind of guy I am. |

As I mentioned on chat; to me this seems to be like walking into your local bike shop and being offended because there is a Motrax stand with bikes products on*.
He is selling bike related products in a place designed for such a purpose. Yes, it is unsolicted, but so are the rest of the ads.
Yes he is trying to make money from it, but so are the rest of the ads.
* Ok, bad example as I do find Motrax generally offensive . |

Old Thread Alert!
