Now my caberg has done well but its coming to the where it needs to be retired to the if I have a pillion position in my helmet collection.

However I always struggle to decide on style type and brand.

All I know is it has to be:
Quiet as I spend a lot of time on the motorway
Full face

Well vented

Last helmet was a flip up and served me well but all helmets were sports orientated any suggestions?

For me, the AGV V-Flyer was the best fitting and great quality for the money. Sadly retired due to a faulty overhead garage door falling on it. Rolling Eyes

I've since used a Duchinni D419 Ace which felt like really good quality from new, but I've since found that it's difficult to find a replacement clear visor...

My OH previously used a Shark helmet, Alien design which coped well with a couple of years of daily use.
She now has a HJC tribal design which I think was slightly cheaper than the Shark helmet, but I think is a noticeably better quality.

It may well be adviseable for you to make a trip to your local bike dealership and/or a Hein Gericke shop. Try the fit and feel of a number of different helmets, take a note of the model and size, then go online and get some price comparisons

I have a Shoie XR1000 Diabolica that is starting to need replacing, but I want the exact same lid again as I liked it so much, both style and fit.
