Thanks for the positive feedback so far guys, although I have to admit that this is as much for my benefit as it is others.
I'm finding the whole process incredibly cathartic, and feel I'm having something of an epiphany. In fact, I think I've found my 'Road to Damascus' through the injuries of others. Praise de lard, like Saul, my sight is restored.

The A40 accident thread (in which you first piped up) was an accident that was apparently due to highway temporary works failing and causing a Deathrace 2000 type booby trap on a major road into/out of London.
I really can't see why you'd get your knickers in a twist over that, what with regular posters using that route and the seemingly unique way the accident occured..
So people post stuff that doesn't interest you on teh interwebz - what else is new?
