Sounds immense for a little 125 Very Happy

Cant wait to ride it, just needs a few bits and bobs to get her ready for the road again Very Happy

To Do:
Remove seized pins from rear caliper and rebuild it.
Fix indicator relay problem
Fit new gold chain (needs cutting down etc...)
Couple of mods to the pillion grab handles so rear seat fits on properly
Get through MOT
Buy some tax Very Happy

It's coming along nicely, well done on finally getting the exhausts!

It looks great.

I'm kinda with the others that are a bit gobsmacked at how much you've put into this, being a 125 and being an L plater n'all.

BUT, it's your bike, it's your choice, it looks fucking stunning,

well done Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Thanks dude.

Alot of my choice is due to running costs of a bigger bike.
I have a mrs, house and car to pay for.

As the 125 costs me £100 insurance and £16 tax per year it's a cheap toy to run.

And as pointed out in other posts, I've not actually spent that much in total Smile

Fair play to you.

Aye, I noticed you did the paint and decals yourself? Bet that saved a few hundred bob.

Did the decals myself, the paint was professionally done, but the boss paid for it Very Happy (he owns a paint/repair co).

So saved about £1800 on what it would have cost for the custom painjob and the decals.

Also got the bike cheap originally and done all the maintenance work, and made alot of the parts fit myself (sent items off for milling etc...)

So not spent that much out of pocket, but the stuff done is worth quite abit.

Anyways, i love the bike, love the looks, love the sound and love riding it Very Happy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2iYCfqP5hs

That video was filmed on an iPhone so sound doesnt do it justice, also im aware its misfiring, the enigine hadnt been started for at least 6 months and was cold. Also i think one of my jets needs clearing out.

At least you can tell its a real twin as one exhaust is popping and spluttering and the other is running smooth.

Video was a while ago, bike is nearly complete now.

Just need to tweak carbs and fit the rear caliper and shes ready for MOT.

That's really great. At first I didn't like the exhaust size, but when you get up close to it and you see them, they look and sound amazing. Paint work is great too!

Just don't drop it!

Wow! Tidiest 125 ever! If it actually tops out at 85 (which I don't entirely doubt due to it being a twin) then I bet it's bloody fun to ride.

Looks good Thumbs Up

Out of curiosity can the mods be transferred to the 250/650 bikes?

Had my GT showing 92 on speedo, but GPS was saying about 82, thats down a hill, new exhaust, upjetted carbs and an SV650 filter... 2 up Laughing

When sold wouldn't do over 70 though.

Thumbs Down

He could transfer pretty much all of it to the 250, all it is really is a different engine Laughing
