Hi there,

My Dad has had some interest in his motorbike, but doesn't know what to value it at, and I can't find any firm idea of what it might be worth online. Is there a site with a decent price guide for older bikes? The sidecar makes it a bit more complicated - it's a Watsonian child/adult. The bike has 13,500 miles and has been registered in the UK since 1996. I think he's quite keen to sell it as the reduced risk of falling off makes it less enjoyable Very Happy

Any help you can give with price ideas or good sites to look at would be much appreciated, thanks in advance

Alfie

I saw one of these bikes outside a bike shop in Gillingham this afternoon and i liked it thought it'd be the type of bike i'd like to get as a project in the future (to be fair i could say that about a hundred bikes :p )

I would not be in the least surprised if the sidecar is worth more than the bike.

A very rough guess, assuming good condition, bike around £400-£700, GS550 is pretty common. Sidecar £1500 - £2000. Nothing more than a guess. These guys will have a better idea but your going to need photos. https://www.sidecars.org.uk

it depends on the model of the side car,
but it probably would be better to sell the bike and car seperate,
the bike being such low mile would probab;y fetch between 700 and 1500 quid
and the car between 300-800 model dependant,

Thanks very much everybody, I would have taken one of those offers but I've had a big dinner and will therefore investigate the sidecars site. Cheers!
