Mobile phone useage

Hi

Just had my mobile bill through today. Used it very little this month, but was surprised how little. 6 minutes of phone calls and 4 texts .

How much do the rest of you use?

Dunno, but a 25 Euro card usually lasts around 6 months, but we have some of the lowest mobile charges in Europe, apparently!

My last bill was 5 minutes 25 seconds of calls, 7 texts and 133MB of internet.

Makes me wonder why I'm on the tariff I'm on tbh, all I ever really use is the internet when out and about.

anywhere between 200-300 texts, very little in the way of calls. Unsure on internet. I have a 500mb allowance and rarely go over it anymore.

Only reason im on a 600 minute unlimited text plan is because I tether a lot and it was the only package with a decent data allowance. (oranges unlimited but FUP)

Im on a £35 a month tariff, get around 1Gb Internet (Never checked, but I've never come close to using it all), Unlimited (Read: 3000) texts, 1000minutes and the BB service/Insurance on my phone.

I think my last bill was something like 300mb data usage, 300 texts and <50minutes.

Not quite sure why I have the tariff I'm on either lol.

On PAYG. According to my phones call timer, I've made 187 minutes of out going calls over the last 5 years Averaging about 3 minutes a month. I beat you Keith

I am on a £5.10 a month contract, gives me 100 mins and 100 texts. I have never used it all.

My last statement suggests I used 12 minutes of calls and 38 texts. About 25 of those texts (i.e. one per weekday, plus I tend to go in most saturdays) will be the "I made it to work on my motorbicycle alive" texts the gf vehemently insists on me sending.

My phone pre-dates mobile internet so data is not an issue.

The woman has free o2 to o2 calls, so I give her three rings and she rings me back. Means a tenner of credit lasts two months

I get 1200 mins and unlimited texts and 750mb data.

last month 1400mb data (thank god for data test drive with vodafone)

1198 minutes and 1245 texts.

For a fiver, I get 60 mins (with an extra min every time someone calls me!) and 300 texts.
Most of the texts have gone but I still have a fair few mins left

I use Giffgaff, £10 goody bag.
250 free mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet (but no tethering allowed) and free calls to other Giffgaff users.
I typically have about 200 of the free mins left each month, except for October where I had only 15 or so free mins left (lot of calls to insurance, BT, BE unlimited, HSBC etc due to moving house)

Pretty low usage really.

I got an orange PAYG sim in 2006, put £20 on it and still have about £5 left.
It is quite difficult to use round here as no network has any coverage whatsoever.
I usually just take it (turned off) when going out further afield in case of some minor disaster.

I have 100 minutes and "Unlimited" texts.

I often run out of minutes before it's time to top up, and have recently got the message from o2 warning me I'm nearing my text limit.

I have a tendency to waffle on whilst texting and end up sending essays spanning 2 or 3 pages.

But, it's no excuse. I must admit I text too much for my own damn good.

However, I go through spells where I just can't be fooked, and don't send a single text for a few days. Or atleast that was the case til I met our lass.

Sigh.

For what it's worth, I use mobile internet a fair amount, and have never used up however much I pay for... Think it's 500mb? Really not sure.

I get unlimited Internet, 600 minutes and 500 texts or something like that, I try and use as much of each as I can seeing as I'm paying for it...

10 mins of calls from my 100 and a couple of dozen texts from my 300.
Most I ever used it was when I was in hospital over the summer and most of that was to Hellcat.

I’m with Tesco on £25 a month for 250 minutes, unlimited SMS and 1GB internets.

Last bill I made 8 calls totalling 14 mins, sent 68 texts and used 110MB data.

My use has dropped a bit in the last few weeks since I stopped working for myself and whored myself out to an IT department in The City.

Are most of you's older guys? My top up's were costing >£40 a month, got a good contract til i killed the phone and let it get cut off.

Now I'm on 3 and use £15 each topup then trade it for bolt ons which gives a good deal.
