Spilled tea all over my white t shirt like 2 weeks ago, now I washed it then semi dried it only to find the stain is hardly removed at all... It's not an expensive one but I quite like it Confused
Is it a goner or can I still save it?

Try vanish or some such laundry additive rubbe dinto it.

Or try rubbing some swarfega into it before washing it again. It got dried in thermal paste off a fancy shirt of mine a while ago. Worth a punt.

Find every single one of those T-shirts ever produced, put an identical tea stain onto every shirt - Everyone will assume it's how the T-shirt was supposed to look.

Thumbs Up

My OH regularly advises people to try spraying hair spray over a stubborn stain before re-washing it... apparently certain chemicals in the hairspray helps to dissolve certain stains.
Gotta be worth a try

Spray it over the stain, give it a light brush with either an old toothbrush or a nail brush, wash it, if the stain is still visible after a wash give it another go, it's gotten ink, oil and grease out of my jeans and t-shirts in the past... Thumbs Up

So far this seems to be the best option but I may have to try hairspray first as I can't afford the travel money to take a gap year staining thousands of shirts, as fun as that sounds Wink

...or put a cum stain, skidmark, or a splash of puke, and tell everyone that it's "designer"??

Marcus,

Post the shirt to me and I can have at back to you whiter than daz! I can mass produce my protein-sourced biological tea cleaner at quite some rate.

Actually I remember lending my best mate a shirt only for his mom to hand it back to me a week later saying "Titot, I've even put it in the wash to make sure I've cleaned the semen off it! I can't believe you gave Phill a stained shirt!" Embarassed

That traveled around school a bit particularly because I was deputy head boy, and the lad I lent my shirt to was the head boy... who was my best mate lol!

Domestos is a bit "heavy" and may give a yellowish stain to the T shirt and may damage the fabric. Buy some hydrogen peroxide from the chemist and try that. Several applications will be needed. It should get rid of most of the stain and will not damage the fabric.
