Ordering from Hong Kong

Im thinking of ordering something and it appears it wil come from Hong Kong. Will I have to some kind of import duty? Anybody know how much it might be?

Bought quite a bit of camera equipment from there and never had to pay duty. Got stung for stuff from America and Thailand though.

Never paid any duty when I used to order stuff from HK.
Turnaround was really quick, max a week, had stuff within three days as well!

The Chinese and HK sellers I've used don't seem to give a stuff about lying about the value on the import declaration. Good for them.

That said, your package might be the time they decide to fess up or get caught at it.

I've been collared for duty once in about 30 orders, so it generally works out ok. They'll invariably declare it as a 'gift', customs aren't daft but it's fairly small fry stuff.
