Hi I'm after some advice, my friend bought an shoei xr1000 xl to do his bike test but decided to do his car instead, my question is I've been offered this helmet for 50 quid but my heads size large is it the large and medium that use the same shell so can just replace the inner pads or xl and large.

thanks in advance

think the xr1000 has 3 shell sizes, the large is a single shell size so completely individual shell to the small/mediums and the xl and up so dont think that will work.

EDIT actually uses 4 (was thinking of my Raid 2) but same still applies:

I think Shoei's tend to have different shell sizes for each size, I know some of the other cheaper makes don't.

So it probably wont work Thumbs Down

Could be worth a try on just incase it fits though ?

Thumbs Up
