Just a lil rant and rave here.
Had a great day out today. Me and 'er indoors' out, reasonably early, foggy but nice enough.

Anyways, coming home on the A20 I am at 70 mph, pull out, overtake and stay out in middle until I'm 100 yds or so ahead of the car. I go to pull in to nearside again and check blind spot, indicate and guess what?

A fukin wanker in a black beamer undertaking me, I put my arm out in a WTF motion and he just doesn't stop. He just rides on by at 90 mph.

Anyway. I just call him a wanker (hand signs Laughing ) and carry on, forgetting about it.
BUT, I get to the lights at 5 ways and the dick is sitting there in traffic and I am filtering down the center and this fuker will not look at us, I stare at this guy and he will not look at me.
I'm like "Oi, you ever fukin look where your fukin driving???"

OMG, I wanted to swipe his mirror SO MUCH! but I reckon I'm the one that will get busted.

Still, a really nice day out we had. Thumbs Up

Sorry for Bad Language and I'm just ranting but really, I want to shoot him Laughing

Wait, you found a BMW owner that paid for those optional-extra wing mirrors? Did they have indicators fitted too?

BMW drivers should be shot. I was cut up the other day by a BMW M3 driver. I'm not sure about what part of riding in the middle of the lane means I intend to move into the turn left lane when it arrives in 20 yards but he seemed to think it was acceptable to carve his way in front of me into the lane I was in and then gesticulate as if he thought I was intending to do just that.

Of course a finger and a w@nker sign did express my displeasure at the incident.

Oddly enough at the next set of lights he started checking his eyebrows in the mirror, I on the other hand was debating whether it would be worth the scene created if I was to filter alongside and remove his drivers side wing mirror.

I decided against it in the end.

If you don't want to take the mirror, just open a rear door, make the twunt get out of his cocoon.

Had a few encounters with BMW drivers.
Tonight I guess I was lucky I didnt end up on ones bonnet.
Possibly the closest call to being knocked off.
Roundabout, Lane 1 & 2 to carry on to the 2nd exit - Lane 3 to carry on to exit 2 or to carry on to exit 3.
Im in lane 3, behind some car (Who I only just pulled in behind from some lights , which is where I guess my luck came in.
Going around, Beemer darts from Lane 1 to lane 3 to carry onto exit 3 - Cue car in front emergency brake, me emergency brake (Ok poor obs, too close) But the bike skidded to lane 2.
Front end dipped, but some how I kept the bike upright.
If I hadnt of gone behing the car in front I would most likely had an off Thumbs Down

I really like this idea.
Plus, you couldn't get done for criminal damage should the driver get your reg number, unlike a mirror swipe.

Yea, I waited about 2 seconds. You have to know the road to know why but I will explain as it seems you really need to know the reason why I didn't just pull in with my Mrs on the back.

The road has a groove running through it. I wanted to get out of the slight bend and be straight before I cross the groove.

Make sense? Rolling Eyes

That back door thing would really annoy me Rog Thumbs Up

The must have extra for 2012 BMWs will be an automatic closing system for the rear doors, i.e. a £500 bungie cord. Laughing

So, let me get this straight:

You're in the wrong lane, impeding the progress of other road users, and they're in the wrong for passing you?

I did read the post, hence my confusion.

You overtook a car, and then remained in the outside lane whilst you put a hundred yards distance between yourself and the car you overtook (because you didn't want to pull back into the correct lane due to the road surface).

Then, because you'd stayed in the outside lane long enough to make a 100yard gap, someone overtook you on the inside.

What I don't understand is why that would make you arsey, aggressive and confrontational. If anything it should make you ashamed.

If you'd been riding properly, the Beemer wouldn't have needed to pass you in the inside lane - he'd have been able to pass you quite happily in the (now clear of slower moving vehicles which aren't overtaking anything and are merely obstacles impeding the flow of traffic) outside lane.

its not bloody rocket science is it.

he was followin said car at 70 he pulls out into middle lane over took at 100 and carried on a 100 or so yards as that particular stretch of lane one is not so good yeah.

which makes me think if car is goin 70 and he does 100 for 100feet to pass him then that mean for the bmw to be that close and in his blind spot he must have put his foot down for some reason .

corrct me if im wrong and i mean not correct my punctuation just my view of it .

Was this on the way back into london? If so I know the groove that you speak of. That road is full of muppets. It's nice getting past them as it goes into variable speed limit and tons of lights though Twisted Evil

Firstly the OP makes no mention three figure speeds in the original post, and it's not 100 feet, it's 100 yards (100 feet is circa 30-35 yards).

For me the OP shouldn't have been in the outside lane when he was 100 yards past the car he was overtaking. The right hand lanes are for overtaking only. Nothing to overtake, so reason to be out there.

I probably would have undertaken him too if he was dawdling.
