Not sure about including Assen, it will be good to watch on TV or even for a bit of a jolly over to Holland. Personally I'd have it at one of the Spanish or Italian tracks where the chance of sunshine is a little higher given that 80% of the races are held in crap weather.
Probably also a bad thing for the smaller teams on a tight budget.

I guess if they want to compete with the Spanish CEV Buckler championship they need to do something to give BSB more of an international feel though.

At least its not another MSV track. I think its Croft that is missing from this year, I can't think of any others.

They do a similar thing in the Ozzy V8's, next year they're going to race in New Zealand and Abu Dhabi.
Assen is probably closer for me then Knockhill, in a way we're pretty lucky that we don't follow racing in Australia or the US as every meeting would be 1000's of miles away.

But they aren't domestic championships.
I guess Assen just because it's one of the closer European tracks, not sure why they didn't do Le mans.
